This is a compilation of my grandfather during the pandemic. He lives by himself in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. Before the pandemic, my family would constantly visit him and he would be ecstatic for us to see him. He would bring us fruits and vegetables from his garden that he created. But when the state was placed on lockdown, we could no longer see him. A couple of months go by and the state had lifted its stay-at-home order. My family received a call from my grandfather one morning and he wanted us to visit him, he seemed so adamant for my family to go visit him. We grabbed our masks and headed off to Boyle Heights. It had seemed he wanted a haircut when we arrived at his house that day. And when we saw him he hugged us as if we had left him by himself for years, it was only a couple of weeks we didn't see him. These photos are dedicated to him.
