Along a dirt road in St.Paul sits Pig's Eye Park, a homeless encampment that has existed for a long time. For the people living there, it has become more than a place to stay, it is a place where they have built relationships and a sense of a home they can come to. But when the city announced plans to clear the encampment which began on Aug. 5th, the residents at the encampment were left asking one question:
Where would we go next?
Once the city swept the area, most if not all residents of Pigs Eye migrated to another area called the Randolph encampment, but as the city is committed to more sweeps, it was a temporary solution to a growing problem. Again... Where do we go next?
