A SCANDAL ON HALLOWEEN

Parents and student activists gathered at Coronado High School in protest of a group of white students dressed in ponchos for Halloween. This garnered much attention when posted on social media. This incident provoked local Latino students and others from various neighborhoods. As the protest went on, some locals of Coronado had either showed some of empathy towards protestors while others began taunting the activists with comments such as, "Let's Go Brandon!," while another drove around the school with MAGA(Make America Great Again) hats yelling insults. one particular person confronted the activists which led to a heated conversation between the two. At one point police officers were seen on the top of a fire department building recording the protest. This comes just a couple months after another incident involving Coronado High School students throwing tortillas at the end of a basketball game at the opposing team which happens to be largely a Latino school.
